Quarantine malformed UTM links before campaign launch
Validates every campaign link in a Monday launch board against your UTM taxonomy and moves any link with missing or off-spec parameters into a Quarantine group.

What it does
This workflow watches a Monday board where marketers stage campaign links before launch. When a link is added or edited, it parses the URL's UTM parameters and checks them against your taxonomy rules — required fields present, source/medium/campaign drawn from approved vocabularies, lowercase, no spaces. Anything malformed is moved to a Quarantine group and flagged so it can never go live unnoticed.
When to use it
Use it when multiple people stage paid, email, and social links in Monday and you want a hard gate that stops dirty UTMs from reaching ad platforms — where they fragment your analytics permanently.
How it works
- 1A Monday item is created or its link column changes.
- 2The flow parses the URL and extracts utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and utm_term.
- 3It validates each value against the approved vocabulary and formatting rules.
- 4If any check fails, the item is moved to the Quarantine group with a comment listing the exact violations.
- 5Clean links are moved to Ready-to-Launch and the marketer is notified.
